New Graduate Students are guaranteed housing if they submit their $600 rent prepayment and apply online by June 1. While applying, these students will be asked to enter their roommate preferences and accept their contracts for fall 2009/spring 2010. All new Graduate students are assigned to the Graduate Living Center (GLC) or Crecine Apts (CRE), formally known as Hemphill. Students will return to
My Housing
on July 8 to view their room/roommate information and find out specific move in instructions.
If at any point you no longer want housing or decide not to attend Georgia Tech, immediately log into
My Housing and cancel your housing!
Don't forget to activate your GT email account at
www.passport.gatech.edu. Click on
"I need to activate my account (Students Only)".
This email account is how the Department of Housing corresponds with you.

How to make a Housing Prepayment: ($600 for Fall/Spring or $300 for Summer)

How to make a Housing Prepayment:
- Go to www.bursar.gatech.edu
- On the right hand side of the page, click on "Pay Now"
- Login with your gtID and PIN.
(For New students the pin is initially your birthday in MMDDYY format) - Choose "Deposits"
- Choose a Deposit Type: "Fall, Spring or Summer Housing Prepayment" and click "Select"
- Click on: "Make Deposit Payment" to process the Housing Prepayment.
- Select Payment Method: Electronic Check or Credit Card (MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, or DISCOVER CREDIT CARDS)
- Continue payment process as directed. Once the deposit has been made, you may go to www.housing.gatech.edu and apply under "My Housing".
