New Graduate Students are guaranteed housing if they submit their $600 rent prepayment and apply online by June 1.
While applying, these students will be asked to enter their roommate preferences and accept their contracts for fall
2008/spring 2009. All new Graduate students are assigned to the
Graduate Living Center (GLC)
or
Hemphill Ave Apts (HAA)
.
Students will return to
My Housing
on July 9 to view their room/roommate information and find out specific move in instructions.
If at any point you no longer want housing or decide not to attend Georgia Tech, immediately log into
My Housing and cancel your housing!
Don't forget to activate your GT email account at
www.passport.gatech.edu. Click on
"I need to activate my account (Students Only)".
This email account is how the Department of Housing corresponds with you.

In order for your residential application to be processed you must:
- Be accepted to the Georgia Institute of Technology
- Submit an on-line prepayment, $600 for Fall/Spring or $300 for Summer.

How to make a Housing Prepayment:
- Go to OSCAR
- Choose "Secured Access Login" and login with your gtID and PIN.
(For New students the pin is initially your birthday in MMDDYY format) - Choose "Campus Services"
- Choose "Campus Deposits"
- Select a Deposit Type: "Fall, Spring or Summer Housing Prepayment"
- Submit
- Choose VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, or DISCOVER CREDIT CARDS
(For the Housing Prepayment the credit card fee is waived) - Then click on: "Submit Deposit" to process the Housing Prepayment. Log out of OSCAR.
- Complete your application at "My Housing"
