Application Process

1. Eligibility
   • You must be a married or single parent and full-time registered student at Georgia Tech.
   • Your spouse and/or children must jointly occupy the assigned unit for a minimum of 25 days each month.
   • Subleasing is not allowed in Georgia Tech Housing.
   • All residents must comply with the terms and conditions of the Housing Space Contract and Technically Speaking.

2. Submit $300 pre-payment.
   (A one-time non-refundable $80 application fee will be subtracted from your prepayment. The remainder will be applied to the first month's rent.)

   To make a prepayment online:
   • Go to OSCAR
   • Choose "Secured Access Login" and
     login with your gtID and PIN (initially your birthday in MMDDYY format)
   • Choose "Campus Services"
   • Choose "Campus Deposits"
   • Select the appropriate prepayment term and follow the directions on the site.

4. Submit Contract Signature Card & Supporting Documentation
   Fax the signed Contract Signature Card with "Move in Date" and "Apartment Preference" along with a copy of your Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificate(s) of dependant children to the Family Housing Office. Applications received without supporting documentation will not be processed. Also, at move in, you must bring the Original Marriage Certificate and Birth Certificates of children, if applicable. If the document(s) are not in English, they must be translated by an authorized agency These documents can be

5. Select Apartment Choice
   Once your contract signature card and supporting documentation has been accepted, the Georgia Institute of Technology Department of Housing will email you, notifying you to go on-line and select your apartment of those available. (See floor plans links to the right) Please reply to the Department of Housing your first and second choices. Assignment to a preferred building or apartment is contingent upon availability and is NOT GUARANTEED. If desired space is not available, the Student will be assigned the next available space. Contracts are not terminated if desired space or style is unavailable.
