Philosophy of Housing and Tech Policies
There are three documents which govern policies and rules in the Department of Housing:
- Housing Contract which is binding between the resident and the Department
- Technically Speaking, the Department of Housing Community and Services Guide which addresses policies for group living situations and actual building facility/maintenance and custodial procedures, and the
- the Code of Student Conduct, Tech's rules for all students.
The Department of Housing and Residence Life policies are designed to assist in the physical, academic, emotional and financial protection of the members of our residential community. As part of an academic community, all members share responsibility for its growth and general welfare.
