Room Personalization

Students find living in residence halls more enjoyable when it feels like "home." We encourage students to bring plants, hang posters (using "Removable Poster Mounting Adhesive" available in bookstore), and decorate. Most room furniture is movable, so work with your roommate to strike the best set up for both of you. However, all furniture must stay in the room at all times. Student spaces in traditional and suite-style buildings are not carpeted, so bring a rug with you. However, certain things are not allowed. Do not: remove your window screen, block exits, windows vents or the bottom of your a/c unit, erect a loft, paint or panel walls, put in an a/c window unit, make holes in our walls, use halogen lamps, or set up a waterbed.
