Child Development Center Construction - Tenth&Home

Georgia Tech has recently awarded a construction contract to begin construction on a child care center in the Tenth&Home (Family Housing) complex. The future Georgia Tech Child Development Center will be located on the ground floor of Building F, within the complex, which is located at 301 Tenth Street on the Georgia Tech campus.

The project includes the construction of a 10,473 SF daycare facility and a 7,469 SF playground that will have capacity for approximately one hundred children. The majority of the work will entail an interior fit-up of existing space. Minor site work includes the installation of a playground, modification to site utilities, and minor parking lot modifications.

Construction is scheduled to start in early February and complete mid-July, with the center tentatively scheduled to open in August / September of 2012.
