Residence Life : Freshman
The Freshman Experience (FE) program is designed to assist our newest residents in their adjustment, both socially and academically, to Georgia Tech. Since 1992, the FE has increased the first-to-second year retention of students to over 90%!
At Tech, students who elect to participate on this voluntary program (over 85% of new residents do) live together in traditional halls. Programs and activities, from the Freshman Activities Board to tutoring in our nine Learning Centers, are designed by FE staff to meet the special needs of these residents.
