SNEHA PATEL
RA, North Avenue North
"My Peer Leader my first year left a great impression on me and I wanted to be the reason that another student enjoyed their academic year. Also, I had worked in the community housing office and had a small feel for what being an RA was like so I wanted to explore the possibility further."
Fun Facts- I am 5ft tall but I have a big presence
- I'm crazy bubbly and usually have a smile on my face
- I am the greatest advocate of giving hugs so if I randomly come up and give you one, it's simply because I'm living up to my name's meaning of "affection."
How will Residence Life fit into your career plan?
"Well, seeing as how my major is management I've been able to implement a log of what I've learned in the classroom as well as on the job as an RA to enhance my managerial skills such as planning, event coordinating, working in teams, and time management. One day I hope to serve as a manager for some corporation so I can definitely see a positive correlation with the skills I've picked up as a student staff member with being a positive leader."
