New Candidate Selection Process
Please read carefully through the information provided to ensure that you submit a complete application and also to make an informed decision about the position you are applying for next year.

  1. Information Sessions
    Available for you to become acquainted with the Department of Housing, its student staff positions, and the recruitment/selection process.

  2. Requirements & Eligibility

    You must be able to return to Georgia Tech for Fall Staff Training. Training begins on August 4, 2008 for Peer Leaders, Community Advisors, Community Managers, and Resident Managers. Please see the Commitment Calendar for more information.

  3. Complete Application
    Due Friday, January 25, 2008 at 12:00 PM

    Applications are available for the following positions: Peer Leader, Community Advisor, Community Manager, and Resident Manager. Applications are available at the bottom of this page.
    You must have a complete application in order to continue through the selection process. A complete application includes:

    Upon submission of your application, you are agreeing to the terms stated in the Conditions of Employment and understand the job requirements & time commitments in the Commitment Calendar.

  4. Interview Process

    The interview process has two parts:

    Candidates will be notified of their interview time by email. All interviews will take place February 9-10, 2008. The whole process will take 3 hours. Please bring copies of your resume to the interview.

  5. Offers
    Information regarding job offers and decisions will be sent to you by GT email on February 21, 2008. A link to the "Acceptance Site" will be included in the offer email. You will need to make your decision on-line by February 27, 2008 at 12:00 PM. Failure to submit an acceptance letter by February 27, 2008 at 12:00 PM will result in a rescinding of your offer and you will be removed from the 2008-2009 selection process.
