As part of "Auxiliary Services Loves Students" week, the Department of Housing invites you to enter for the opportunity to win a rent rebate of ½ off your Spring 2010 semester rent. To enter the drawing, stop by any housing office and complete an entry form. A special treat awaits you at each location. Hurry, as this offer is only valid February 8 - 12! Only one entry per GT registered student please. The last day to enter is Friday, February 12 at 8:00 p.m. One winner will be selected and notified on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

Apply for Conference Services Staff - Summer 2010

What happens to the residence halls during the summer?
While some buildings are closed for renovations, many housing spaces are used for summer conferences. These conferences come from all over the world to
host their events at Georgia Tech, and we are looking for students to assist our professional meeting planners with all aspects of conference coordination
and production.
Please visit the application link below to learn about the different positions available. Depending on the position, compensation may include on-campus apartment-style housing, a stipend, or hourly pay.

North Ave South Represents at High's College Night
The night of Saturday, January 23rd brought a storm to Atlanta, but college students from campuses all over the metro area still flocked to the High Museum of Art. College Night at the High was a huge success, as North Avenue South RAs Julia Zasyatkina, Paige Cruver, and Shing Shing Ze found out when they took 20 of their residents to this event. "Transportation was provided by the Stinger bus services, making the logistics of the trip convenient and hassle free," reported RA Paige Cruver.

Towers Hall Reclaims Quad in Fourth Annual Battle
The Freshman Experience's fourth annual "Battle for the Quad" was one of the biggest and closest competitions in the event's history! The annual rivalry between the Glenn Goatmen and the Knights of Towers features a week-long program of events where residents from each building compete to win their team points. At the end of the week, a winner is declared and that team secures naming rights for the grassy quad that lies between the two buildings. It's Towers Quad for the rest of this year.
